Mandatory EPCS in Nevada

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak signed Assembly Bill 587 into law on June 3rd, 2019. This Act requires prescribers to electronically prescribe all controlled substance prescriptions by January 1st, 2021 in an effort to combat opioid abuse and addiction.

Nevada Controlled Substances Prescription Monitoring

All prescribers and dispensers are required to consult the state PMP prior to prescribing or dispensing any controlled substance.
